About Pastor Gil Garcia

Gil Garcia is Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Rosedale, in Bakersfield CA. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Olivia, for over 39 years. He has two grown sons, Garrett and Grant. Gil has been in the Calvary Chapel movement for over 46 years. He was Born Again under the ministry of Greg Laurie, back in 1979. There he grew in his faith as young teenager. Later in life, in his early 20’s, Gil began to distance himself from the Lord, through his business ventures and political aspirations. He began prospering in materialism and business but his spiritual life was dead. In 1991, he re-dedicated his life to Jesus Christ, and made Him (Jesus) Lord of his life.
